How is payment processed?

Payments can be processed by bank transfer or PayPal.

How does the booking process actually work?

When you fill out the form on our booking page, you're making an enquiry to stay at our cottage — it's not a confirmed booking just yet. Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll review it and get back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability.

If your requested dates are available, we’ll send you a booking confirmation and all the details you need. From then on, we’ll stay in touch to answer any questions and provide essential information about your stay.

Before your arrival, we’ll ask you to make payment — you can choose either bank transfer or PayPal, whichever is easiest for you.

How do I check if my desired dates are available?

You can check if your desired dates are available by using our availability calendar on our booking page.

What is a damage deposit?

A £100 damage deposit is required to be paid before your stay. The damage deposit will be repaid within 7 working days, providing the cottage and its contents are in the original state, as the hirers found it, at the commencement of their holiday. The hirers should notify the owners of any breakage or damage and re-imburse them prior to departure. The cost of any damages that have not been re-imbursed will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, there are no hidden fees at all. We do not charge extra for cleaning, service, or additional guests. The only cost is £100 per night, plus a fully refundable damage deposit.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 3pm onwards, and check-out is required before 10am on your departure day.

How do I access the property?

You will receive a lockbox code via email before your stay. The lockbox is located by the side of the door. A set of keys to the front door are located in the lockbox.

The cottage is spread over two floors, connected only by stairs. Guests with specific accessibility needs should reach out to us for more information.

Are pets allowed in the cottage?

We welcome well-behaved pets to the cottage as long as they are kept under control, and must not be allowed upon furniture.
